Lace-y Trellis Infinity Scarf

The Lace-y Trellis Scarf is based on the first pattern I ever learned.  It is super easy once you complete a section.

Supplies:

Worsted weight yarn*
H or I Hook ( 5.0 or 5.5 mm)
Tapestry needle to weave in ends

*You can use any yarn you like.  Simply use the recommended hook size for the yarn.

Pattern:

Chain 150. (or any multiple of 8 + 6 chains)

Row 1: SC in the second chain from the hook and in each chain across (149 SC). Turn.

Row 2:  Chain 3.  Skip 3 SC and double crochet (DC) 3 times in the next SC. *Chain three, skip 3 SC, and SC in the next SC.  Chain 2, skip 3 SC and DC 3 times in the next SC.*  Repeat from * to * ending with 3 DC in the final stitch of the row.  Turn.

Row 3:
Chain 3. DC 3 times in the first chain 2 space from the previous row. *Chain 3, SC in the top of the first DC in the next cluster.

Chain 2, 3 DC in the next chain space.*

Repeat from * to * across. Turn.

Row 4-12:
Repeat Row 3.

Row 13: At the end of Row 12, chain 1 and turn.  *SC in each of the DC stitches, 2 HDC in the chain space. 1 DC in the sc, 2 HDC in the chain space.*  Repeat from * to * across. Fasten off, leaving a long tail.

Sew the two ends of the cowl together using the long tail.  Weave in ends.

OTHER YARNS:

This scarf was made using one skein of  Loops & Threads Charisma yarn with an L hook:

The beginning chain was 130.

Can you imagine how awesome this will look when I can buy one more skein of this color???
